NFTs exploded in popularity last year, with the entertainment industry moving to embrace the much-hyped crypto asset — and 2022 is poised to be another huge year as more celebrities and studios join the digital gold rush.
Last year alone, Warner Bros. partnered with Nifty's to release a sold-out collection of "Matrix Resurrections"-inspired NFTs, and Kings of Leon collaborated with YellowHeart to launch the band's first album in NFT form. Meanwhile, Dick Wolf, the "Law and Order" and "Chicago" producer, worked with Curio to release "The Wolf Society," a "membership-based society for online detectives powered by Non-Fungible Tokens."
