Good content is extremely important today because it’s the easiest and cheapest way to reach a massive audience on a consistent basis. And it is likely that your competitors are doing it already, so you’re missing out if you’re not doing it too.

However, scaling content creation is not easy. More content usually means content quality starts to degrade. It also becomes more expensive because companies usually build systems in an inefficient way.

To understand how to build a scalable content creation system without degrading content quality, we need to understand the basic process of content creation.

This usually starts with keyword research. Then you choose a topic, create an outline, write the draft, etc. before you can publish your article.

Scaling this process doesn’t mean simply adding more rows in parallel. It’s actually the worst thing to do because people are different and so are the tasks in the system.

To solve this, you need a framework that’ll allow you to control things and maximise efficiency, thereby keeping the quality level high.

First, you need to set up your system for project management. It is what your team will be using on a daily basis to create content. The purpose is twofold:

► It systemizes the workflow for your content creation process
► It gives everyone on the team a high-level view of the status of any post at any given moment.

How do you organize this? This video will show you how.

The next step is to create SOPs. SOPs stand for standard operating procedures and they explain how to perform a task from start to finish.

After this you need to prepare your content assets. It’s a bank of topics and content briefs for your team members that’ll allow them to write lots of content at scale.

Watch the video to learn how to do this.

The third and the most difficult part of the process is hiring team members to outsource your content creation. We have a system that we’ve used to filter through over 350 applications in around an hour. And you’ll learn what our system is from the video.

The final step is to optimize your processes. As the system runs, you’ll find imperfections and inefficiencies. You’ll need to regularly maintain and fix certain processes to find what’s optimal for you and your team.

Watch the video to learn some tips on how to do this.
