If you’re on Pinterest, you can do anywhere from five to 30 pins a day. If you’re just starting out, five pins would be enough. As your following grows, pin some more. The more pins you do, the higher your engagement.

Time and Day of the Week

Again, different social media platforms have different best “times” for posting.

According to Sprout Social, the best day to post on Facebook is Wednesday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

On Twitter, it’s Tuesday and Wednesday, anywhere from 8 a.m.and 4 p.m.

On Instagram, it’s Thursday, at 3 p.m., 5 a.m., 11 a.m., and 4 p.m.

Consistency is Key

More than the frequency of your posts, social media marketing experts emphasize the importance of consistency. This means you can get better results if you will post once a day consistently for one month than if you will drop five posts in one day and stop.

Decide on a fixed schedule for your social media posts. This way, your customers will have something to look forward to at certain times or days of the week. It also makes your life easier.
