If you like browsing Pinterest for shopping inspiration, Pinterest Shop is a great place to start. In this space, products are hand-picked and curated for a specific purpose or event. In this case, the current roundup is an International Women’s Day edit and now, my self-control is seriously being tested because I want to buy everything.
This month, the Pinterest Shop is highlighting shoppable products from over 25 women-owned businesses in the U.S. and around the world. The social platform also started an International Women’s Day fund that will match donations from employees to non-profits “helping women succeed.” (The National Domestic Workers Alliance and the Global Fund for Women are included.)
If you’re a creator selling a product, Pinterest is a fantastic place to get the word out. The platform often dictates (with accuracy) forthcoming shopping trends that could help fine-tune your marketing strategy. A number of new features, including Notes to Self, Board Tool Bar, and Favorites, have also enhanced the Pinterest experience so you can brainstorm and browse without losing track of your ideas.
I’d bet any of the women-owned businesses in this International Women’s Day edit are worthy inspiration as well. Learn more about three of our favorites below:
