David Ross’ book is an extremely well-written guide for the burgeoning DIY movement, stressing the importance of marketing with e-mail and social media, and giving great tips on how to do so. The digital marketing professionals in this space will probably be familiar with most of the topics covered. But those new small businesses where the owner does everything need to seriously consider reading this. In my experience, the independent company owners spawned by the internet need this book the most. David’s overview is easy to digest and implement, making this book a key component for those in the space looking to grow their business.

Picked up a copy of your book two days ago and couldn’t put it down. I read the first 2 chapters at lunch. This is exactly the sort of information anyone who wants a personal web presence or wants to market using social media must know. The best part is that David put everything you need to know in one easy to follow reference book. This is a great “how to” guide. You really hit the nail on the head with this one. I selfishly hope nobody else reads it.

I truly enjoyed reading David Ross’ book “Secrets of the List”. I manage many different types of marketing programs and it is hard to keep up with the technology, especially on the internet. David’s book, with broad logical strokes helps me understand the potential and sales application. I strongly recommend it.
