Pretty interesting book

It’s a pretty decent book, and a very easy read. It’s a little like going to […] and sitting next to each of these people for about 10 minutes and imagining what they’d say to you. Very conversational and interesting. You get a lot of little tidbits from online marketers, saying what they think made them successful. I do wish there had been more nuts-and-bolts, and stronger examples. That’s what kept it from getting 5-stars: the lack of depth.

Enjoyable light read

This book is a nice read about several different people who have been successful in the area where the Internet and Marketing cross. If you are looking for how to or specific information, this book is not for you. If you are looking for anecdotal stories in the online marketing genre, then by all means purchase this book.

This is the biggest bargain available. To be able to read the various paths to success “mere mortals” took to become successful on the internet was extremely inspirational.

Great book.

It’s a great book. Reinforces much of what us SEO hybrids have said for years. Great compilation of experts!

I am honored to be included in this book. It provides an incredible wealth of information from those who have “been there” and “done that.”

One of the reasons books exist is to pass along information–some of which you might learn on your own. But in such a complex proposal as online marketing, you’re unlikely to pick up everything on your own, if for no other reason than the fact that each and every one of has a different approach to problem-solving.

Why not 5 stars? Because…

… author, still wanted put the unsuccessful interviews in book, even knowing, that they are such.

Meh.

The good news is that there were some really interesting questions and answers and a ton of diversity in the types of online marketing these experts engaged in. If there is bad news about this book it’s that about ten percent of the interviews are not very interesting and sometimes the questions are a bit repetitive. I was really interested in learning the perspectives of many of these superstars of the industry. It is worth buying for some of the interviews. If only there was a way to only pay for those.
